Why not try these natural treatments instead of expensive lotions or medical procedures to combat wrinkles?
Egg whites
Mix a few egg whites together in a bowl. Massage your skin and allow it to dry for at least a quarter of an hour. Let the Vitamin E and pure B vitamins rejuvenate your skin by rinsing with warm water. Egg whites contain a lot of proteins, which form a protective seal on the skin. This is explained by Joshua Zeichner MD, Director of Beauty and Scientific Research in Dermatology, Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. It may help hydrate, calm and soothe the skin. However, any benefit they offer in treating wrinkles is likely to be small and temporary. Remember to use sunscreens with SPFs of 30 or more every day. The sun’s harmful UV rays accelerate aging and cause wrinkles. Also, avoid tanning beds.
Olive oil
Pure olive oil will help your skin stay supple and smooth. Massage a few drops of olive oil into your face before bedtime. Rinse with a soft towel. You will wake up with skin that is smooth and healthy looking, according to Anthony Youn, MD. He is a plastic surgery specialist in Troy, Michigan and the author of The Age Repair, A Major Plastic Surgeon Reveals Ways to Really Look 10 Years Younger. He says that olive oil moisturizes the skin. It is rich in anti-inflammatory Omega-3 fatty acid, which is good for the skin. Learn more about the health and taste benefits of olive oil.
Massage therapy
Use your favorite light lotion to massage your face with firm but light pressure. Focus on troublesome areas such as your neck, under your eyes and your brow. Dr. Zeichner says that facial massage can help improve blood flow to the skin, and oxygen and vitamin supply. It can also help improve lymphatic drainage, which will reduce facial and under eye puffiness.
Fruits and vegetables
Dr. Youn claims that fruits and vegetables bursting with vitamins A and C can plump up your skin and make it glow from within. He says that recent fruit and vegetables are the best foods for your skin. Youn says that the antioxidants in recent fruit and vegetables are great for preventing free radicals and oxidation. However, Youn warns that results don’t happen overnight. Learn which fruits and vegetables are high in antioxidants to get the maximum amount of vitamin. Your skin and your health will both benefit.
Lemon Juice
Slice a lemon, and massage the juice on wrinkles and fine lines in your face. Dr. Youn claims that the acidity in lemons helps skin to look younger and reduces wrinkles. He says you can make your own DIY fruit acid lemon facial. Citric acid can be used to exfoliate the skin, making it feel and look smoother.
